Isabel was born in Melbourne Australia. The father of Isabel is Australian while her mother is Swiss. Her family is from Australia, Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a tiny mining community located in the Northern Territory), Cairns Australia as well as Jabiru in Switzerland. Together with her sister Nina, she went to schools where First Nations and other children with different cultural backgrounds were welcomed. Isabel is a resident of Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was a performer in her school. Then she studied drama at the Queensland University of Technology (Victorian College of Arts) and more recently, the Perdekamp Emotional Method PEM. In 2002, her agent found out that she'd never performed in a play before. She was in the process of auditioning for a role in Home and Away, 1988. She was not selected for the role but she was able to impress enough producers that they decided to develop a completely fresh one for Tasha. Her first role on television lasted three years and she was awarded a Logie Award in the category of new popular talents. Isabel moved from the city of London in 2008 to Los Angeles in 2008. Isabel has been involved with numerous environmental groups as well as an animal rights activist. In the past 10 years, she has been an ambassador for the Melbourne Human Rights and Arts Film Festival.
